- Born in Miami Florida. Grew up in the 80's in Summit New Jersey, about 30 miles west of NYC where I attended art school, SVA. Studied photography and graduated with a BFA. Attended Southern Methodist University for two years before attending SVA. Moved to Florida in 1995 to marry my husband Dan. We used to live behind one another when we were babies in 1970. I was awarded a fellowship before the age of 30 and have had many shows and awards for my work. First child born in 2004 at home with a midwife, second in 2006 with a midwife in hospital and both children share the same birthday on July 23rd!!!
